How Qualia works — the claims system on this site, and every command and button the Discord bot has.

Claims

A claim is a statement like "I was Head Admin at Texas State Roleplay from Jan 2025 to now." You submit it; the server you named decides whether it's true.

Submitting one

  1. Log in with Discord and go to Submit a claim.
  2. Enter the server's Discord ID and name, the role you held, and the dates.
  3. Optionally add an evidence link — a screenshot, a staff roster, an announcement — anything that helps the server confirm it faster.

Statuses

StatusMeaning
PendingWaiting on the server. You can withdraw it from your dashboard at any point while it's pending.
ConfirmedSomeone with Manage Server on that Discord confirmed it. It now shows as verified on your portfolio, along with who confirmed it and when.
DeniedThe server denied it. If they left a reason, you'll see it on your dashboard. You can submit a corrected claim afterward.

You can't submit the same role at the same server twice while one is pending or confirmed — withdraw or wait for the first one.

Confirming claims

If you have Manage Server or Administrator on a Discord server, that server appears under Servers you manage on your dashboard. Open its queue to see every claim made about it.

  • Confirm — one click. Your Discord ID is recorded as the confirmer.
  • Deny — you can add a short reason, which the claimant sees.
  • Use the tabs to review past confirmed and denied claims too.

Decisions are final per claim — a denied claim can be resubmitted, but not flipped.

Permissions are checked live against Discord when you log in. If you lose Manage Server, you lose access to that queue next time you log in.

Portfolios

Everyone with at least one claim has a public page at /portfolio/<discord id>. It shows confirmed roles first, then anything unconfirmed, and your linked Roblox account if you've verified one.

Look anyone up from the Look up page, or with /qualia lookup in Discord.

Bot commands — any server

These work in every server that has the Qualia bot added.

CommandWhat it does
/qualia lookup @userShows that person's claims and their status, plus a link to their full portfolio. Only you see the reply.
/qualia linkPosts the link to this website.

Support tickets

In the Qualia support server, the bot runs the support desk. Use it for help, onboarding your server, or disputing a claim decision.

For members

  1. Click Open a Ticket on the panel.
  2. A private channel is created in the Tickets category that only you and the moderators can see.
  3. Explain what you need. A moderator will claim the ticket so you know who's handling it.

One open ticket per person at a time.

For moderators

ControlWhat it does
!sendticketPosts the ticket panel in the current channel. Moderators only.
Claim buttonMarks you as the handler of that ticket. The ticket is renamed to show who claimed it.
Close buttonSaves a full transcript of the ticket to the logs channel, then deletes the ticket channel. Moderators only.
/ticket add @userAdds someone else to the current ticket.
/ticket remove @userRemoves them again.

Roblox verification

Links your Discord account to your Roblox account. Verified members get the Member role (and lose Unverified), and the Roblox username shows on your Qualia portfolio.

How to verify

  1. Click Verify on the verification panel and enter your Roblox username.
  2. The bot gives you a short code, e.g. qualia-river-stone-maple.
  3. Paste that code anywhere in your Roblox profile's About section and save it.
  4. Come back and click I've added it. The bot reads your public profile, finds the code, and verifies you.

You can remove the code from your profile afterward. Verification never asks for your Roblox password — it only reads your public profile.

For moderators

CommandWhat it does
!verifyPosts the verification panel in the current channel.
/whois @userShows which Roblox account a member verified with.

New members are given the Unverified role automatically when they join.

Moderation

Support-server only. Every action is posted to the logs channel with who did it, to whom, and why.

CommandWhat it does
/ban @user [reason] [delete_days]Bans the member. Optionally deletes their last 0–7 days of messages. The member is DM'd the reason first.
/kick @user [reason]Kicks the member. DM'd the reason first.
/mute @user duration [reason]Times the member out. Duration like 10m, 2h, 3d (max 28 days).
/unmute @userRemoves a timeout early.
/roleall role actionAdds or removes a role from every member in the server. Runs in the background and reports how many it changed. Administrators only.

Moderation commands need the Moderator role. /roleall needs Administrator. The bot won't act on anyone whose top role is above its own.

Logging

The logs channel receives:

  • Ticket transcripts (as a text file) when a ticket is closed, with who opened it, who claimed it, and who closed it.
  • Every ban, kick, mute, and unmute.
  • Every successful Roblox verification.
  • /roleall runs and their result.

Adding the bot to your server

Any Roblox roleplay server can add the Qualia bot to get /qualia lookup for vetting staff applicants.

  1. Ask in the support server for the invite link. It only needs permission to use slash commands.
  2. People who have Manage Server on your Discord can log in here and confirm claims made about your server. No extra setup.

The ticket, verification, and moderation features are exclusive to the Qualia support server and won't appear elsewhere.

FAQ

Someone confirmed a claim about my server that isn't true.

Open a ticket in the support server with the claim details. We can review who confirmed it and reverse it.

My claim was denied but I really held that role.

Check the reason on your dashboard. If it's a mistake, add evidence and resubmit, or open a support ticket and we'll mediate.

Can I hide my portfolio?

Portfolios are public by design — the point is that others can verify you. Withdraw any pending claims you don't want shown.

The bot says the verification code wasn't found.

Make sure you saved your Roblox profile after pasting the code, and that you typed your Roblox username (not display name) correctly. Codes expire after 15 minutes — click Verify again to get a fresh one.
