Community Guidelines

What belongs on Qualia, what doesn’t, and what happens when something is reported.

Last updated October 4, 2026

Qualia is a record of who held which staff positions in ER:LC communities. It is only worth anything if that record can be trusted. These guidelines apply to everything you add to Qualia, including your profile, experience entries, links and images, and to anything you do as a community representative. They are part of the Terms of Service.

1.Be truthful about your experience

  • Add only positions you actually held, in the community you name.
  • Use the title the community gave you and the dates you held it. If you aren’t sure of a date, use your best honest estimate.
  • A promotion is a new position on the same entry, not a new entry. Don’t list one role several times to look more experienced.
  • Don’t copy someone else’s history, or claim positions in a community that never existed.
  • Don’t present an entry as verified when it isn’t: not in your headline or bio, not in your images, and not with edited screenshots. Only a community can mark an entry Verified.
  • Don’t imitate a Qualia badge you weren’t given, in your images or anywhere else.

2.Don’t impersonate anyone

  • Don’t pretend to be another person, a community or its staff, Qualia, or the people behind ER:LC, Roblox or Discord.
  • Don’t choose a username, display name, avatar or banner designed to be mistaken for someone else’s.
  • Don’t claim to run or represent a community you don’t.
  • Don’t use a second account to vouch for yourself or to get around a decision we made.

3.Keep verification honest

A verification is a statement by a community, so it is only useful if it is accurate.

If you ask for verification

  • Ask only the community you actually held the position in.
  • Don’t pressure, bribe or threaten reviewers, and don’t ask a friend on the staff to approve you.
  • If a community asks you to change an entry, fix it or leave it unverified. Don’t resend it unchanged.

If you review for a community

  • Check each request against your community’s records or what you know first-hand. If you can’t confirm it, don’t verify it.
  • Verify the entry as it is written. If a title or date is wrong, ask for changes and say what is wrong. Don’t approve it and hope it gets fixed.
  • Don’t verify friends, alternate accounts or anyone you haven’t checked. You can’t decide your own requests, and you shouldn’t get another reviewer to approve them as a favour.
  • Give a short, factual reason when you deny a request or ask for changes. The member sees it. Keep private notes factual too: no insults, and no personal information the decision doesn’t need.
  • Revoke a verification when you learn it was wrong, and pick the reason that is true. Don’t revoke to punish someone who left on bad terms; a revocation should reflect the record, not a falling-out.

Everyone

  • Never buy, sell, trade or offer verification, for money, Robux, positions or favours, on Qualia or anywhere else.
  • Don’t pressure or threaten a member to drop a dispute.

4.Registering and running a community

  • Register only a Discord server you own or manage, for a community you run or have permission to represent. Don’t register a server to take a community’s name from the people who run it.
  • Add as reviewers only staff you trust with members’ records, and remove them when they leave or no longer verify.
  • Choose a log channel that only the people who handle verification can see. Posts there show members’ names, profile pictures and the positions they claim.
  • Don’t repost, screenshot or forward log channel posts outside the people who handle verification, and don’t use them to mock, contact or target members.
  • Don’t point the log channel at a public or announcement channel to shame people whose requests were denied.
  • If someone on your staff misuses a log channel or the review tools, remove their access.

5.What profiles can’t contain

These are not allowed anywhere on Qualia: in text, images, links, usernames or display names.

  • Harassment, bullying or threats, or encouraging anyone to harm themselves.
  • Hate: attacking or demeaning people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or a similar characteristic.
  • Sexual content or nudity of any kind.
  • Graphic violence or gore.
  • Illegal content, or content that promotes illegal activity.
  • Other people’s personal information without their consent (doxxing), such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, photos, schools or private messages.
  • Links to malware, phishing, account-stealing pages, cookie loggers, “free Robux” offers or any other scam.
  • Spam or advertising unrelated to your experience. Links to your own community, content or social profiles are fine.

6.Use Qualia fairly

  • Don’t scrape or bulk-collect profiles, or build a database of members from Qualia. Search engines that follow Qualia’s robots.txt file are fine.
  • Don’t automate accounts, or try to get around rate limits, privacy settings or suspensions.
  • Don’t probe Qualia for security weaknesses without permission. If you find one, report it to us privately instead.
  • Don’t use what you find on Qualia to harass or target anyone.

7.Reporting a problem

Report anything that breaks these guidelines, in particular:

  • fake or exaggerated experience;
  • impersonation of a person or a community;
  • a community that isn’t what it claims to be;
  • a verification that was bought, traded or given dishonestly;
  • a log channel post that was shared or used to harass someone;
  • abusive or harmful content;
  • an account that has been taken over.

Include the profile address or Qualia ID (it starts with ql_), what is wrong, and any evidence you have, such as links or screenshots. If a community is involved, say which one.

We review reports and may contact you for more detail. To protect everyone involved, we may not be able to tell you the outcome. Don’t file reports you know to be false, or use reporting to harass someone.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. Problems that happen on Discord or in Roblox should also be reported to those platforms.

8.Enforcement

Depending on how serious a problem is, and whether it has happened before, we may:

  • remove or hide content, or reset a username or display name;
  • hide or delete experience entries;
  • remove badges;
  • remove a reviewer’s access, or a community’s ability to verify;
  • suspend or close an account. A suspended account cannot sign in.

Serious violations, such as threats, sexual content, doxxing, selling verification or deliberate impersonation, can lead to suspension without a warning. Every change an administrator makes is recorded in Qualia’s audit log.

9.Appeals

If you think we got a decision wrong, tell us. A suspended account can’t sign in, so appeals don’t need one. Include your username or Qualia ID and why you think the decision should change. We will look at it again and tell you what we decided.
